Alfonso has argued cases in Spanish courts and arbitration panels for thirty years. He joined Fuero as senior partner in 2016, bringing a litigation practice built around commercial disputes and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and awards in Spain.
He is known for the written assessment he gives every client before anything is filed, including the cases he recommends not bringing. He has acted as counsel and arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations and lectures on enforcement at a Madrid law school. Alfonso studied law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
