Lucía advises on the tax side of every move the firm handles: residency, the Beckham regime, wealth and inheritance tax, and the treaties that decide which country gets to tax what. She joined Fuero in 2017 from the Madrid office of a Big Four firm, where she worked on expatriate taxation for multinational employers.
She prepares resident and non-resident returns and the foreign asset declarations that catch newcomers out, and she has a gift for explaining a tax ruling in two sentences. Lucía studied law and economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and speaks Portuguese from two years in Lisbon.
